Soft reserves for WoW Forever and Classic raids
Open a list for the next raid, let each player reserve items from that raid's loot and see the contested ones before the pull. When an item drops, you already know who rolls.
How it works
Open a list
Pick the raid, how many reserves each player gets (1 to 10) and, if you like, the raid night it belongs to.
Players reserve
Each raider picks items from that raid's loot table for their character. Limits are enforced, and hard-reserved items can't be picked.
Lock and roll
The list locks at the time you set, or when the raid starts. Export it for your loot addon and roll on what drops.
What you get
- From 1 to 10 reserves per player
- Contested items flagged and listed first
- Hard reserves to take an item off the list
- Automatic lock at a set time or when the raid night starts
- Import from softres.it; export as softres.it CSV (for LootReserve) or Gargul CSV
- Reserves by item or by player, and the history of past lists
Game versions
WoW Forever, Classic Era and Retail: each list uses the raid catalog of your guild's game version.
Free during launch
Everything in the app is free today, for the whole guild. If paid plans are added later, their price is shown first and nothing is charged without your purchase.
Questions
What is a soft reserve in WoW?
Before the raid, each player reserves one or more items. When a reserved item drops, only the players who reserved it roll for it. It is the usual loot mode for Classic and WoW Forever pugs and casual guilds.
Can we keep using softres.it?
Yes. Paste a softres.it CSV export to import its reserves (players are matched to your roster by name), and export your list back as a softres.it or Gargul CSV for your loot addon.
Does it work with RCLootCouncil?
RCLootCouncil has no soft-reserve import, so reserves go to LootReserve or Gargul. Loot history from RCLootCouncil still comes back through the RCLootCouncil importer.
